Adventure Genome Provider Payment Agreement

01Marketplace commission and guest price
Adventure Genome deducts a 4.5% commission from the gross booking amount collected for each new marketplace transaction. The guest pays the booking amount shown at checkout, with no additional Adventure Genome guest service fee.
The commission is calculated in US cents and rounded to the nearest cent, with half cents rounded up. For a $100.00 booking, Adventure Genome retains $4.50 and the provider allocation is $95.50 before any refunds, disputes or other adjustments. The fee and allocation are saved with each payment and are not changed retroactively.
Stripe payment processing fees for this destination-charge integration are paid by Adventure Genome. The 4.5% commission is the provider platform deduction; it does not promise a particular bank payout date or eliminate separately disclosed Stripe account services that a provider chooses.
02Payment collection and provider payouts
Guests pay through Stripe-hosted Checkout. Adventure Genome collects the payment on its Stripe platform account, retains its commission and allocates the remaining amount to the provider’s connected Stripe account. This is not escrow.
Providers must complete Stripe-hosted onboarding, supply accurate business and banking information and keep their account eligible for transfers and payouts. Stripe determines payout availability, verification requirements, reserves and bank timing. A payment or provider allocation recorded here is not proof that a bank payout has completed.
03Refunds, cancellations and disputes
Providers must display accurate cancellation and refund terms before a guest requests a booking and must honor the terms applicable to that booking, subject to applicable law. Providers must promptly notify guests and Adventure Genome when they cannot fulfill a reservation.
A full refund initiated through Adventure Genome reverses the provider allocation and returns the associated platform commission. The application currently initiates full refunds only; partial refunds or exceptional adjustments require administrator handling and authoritative Stripe reconciliation. Partial-refund handling requires an administrator to review and reconcile any associated commission refund and provider transfer reversal, including rounding adjustments; these adjustments are not represented as verified until confirmed with Stripe.
Refunds and disputes can reduce balances or require recovery from a connected account. Providers must cooperate with legitimate refund requests, supply accurate dispute evidence and must not collect a second off-platform payment for an already-paid booking. Recorded refund status may change if the payment processor later reports failure.
04Provider responsibilities
Providers are responsible for truthful listings, accurate pricing and availability, competent fulfillment, required licenses and permits, appropriate insurance, participant eligibility, safety instructions and compliance with laws applicable to their activities and business.
Providers must protect guest personal information, use it only to arrange and fulfill authorized services or meet applicable obligations, and comply with Adventure Genome’s published privacy terms and Stripe’s connected-account requirements. Reviews and marketplace communications must be truthful and must not misrepresent completed transactions.
Providers are responsible for determining and meeting their own tax obligations. This agreement does not state that Adventure Genome calculates or remits every tax that could apply to a provider’s business.
05Agreement records and policy changes
By accepting, the provider confirms authority to act for the business and agrees to the version displayed here. Adventure Genome records the accepting account, provider, policy version, policy text fingerprint, commission rate and acceptance time.
New or revised provider terms require a new acceptance before new paid transactions or payment onboarding. Existing payment snapshots, refund rights, payment reconciliation and transaction history remain available under their recorded terms.
